PRACTITIONER’S CORNER
By:  Rev. Pam
"It is necessary that the practitioner believe in a perfect body. He
cannot realize this unless he has already become convinced that the perfect body
is there.  The practitioner must realize that back of the appearance of it is
the Reality. Disease is a fact but not a truth; it is an experience but not a
spiritual reality."
Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind

One of the most powerful gifts Ernest Holmes gave the world is the
Science of Mind Prayer Treatment.  To date it is the most powerful method of prayer,
I’ve found, that moves me from the world of effect and fear to the world of
God’s Truth revealing itself in the form of an abundant, joyous, peaceful,
healthy life well lived.
But it takes courage and commitment to remain faithfully focused on the truth
of God and turn away from fearful thoughts.  What ‘™ve noticed is that in the
beginning of any healing process our subconscious fears are likely to
increase.
Recently some of our members experienced health challenges.  But, every
single one of them turned to the Ministry of Prayer Team for Treatment.  Their
consciousness moved them from the place of effect directly to that place of
Knowing that the health of God was revealing Itself in their bodies. What
wonderful role models!
By watching their healing process I am reminded that acts of true courage and
commitment are always acts of the heart. And acts of the heart are always
guided and provided by God.
Since our natural state is oneness with God, nature and other human
beings, then it follows we all share a common destiny. Therefore, logically it
becomes our responsibility to continually turn away from fearful separatist
thinking and stay focused upon and embody the Love and Peace of God.
I believe (and studies have proven) that by "holding the High Watch",
taking classes, meeting together on Sunday’s and faithfully performing our
spiritual practices, we can make a difference not only in our lives but  the lives of
all. Let our mantra be "if it’s going to be, it’s up to me!"
Although some situations, like health challenges and our current world
situation are often difficult to understand, I am courageously committed to" holding
the High Watch" and going to that deep place of  knowing that peace prevails
in one and all.  I invite you to join me in this quest. AND SO IT IS!
