Does Treatment Really Work?
Buckminster Fuller, 20th century genius and creator of the geodesic
dome, declared that the energy flowing through any system acts to
organize it. This holds true for the effect of the energy of our
consciousness upon the system of our environment. How does our
consciousness interact with our environment? In other words, what is
the nature of Spiritual Ecology? A partial answer to this question
arises when we consider that the world system of which we are a part is
really one indivisible unity, and that our "self"-consciousness is
really the "self"-consciousness of the universe. We all know the power
of self-awareness to bring about personal change. Why would universal
self-consciousness be any different? Universal self-consciousness, as
our personal self-consciousness, is part of the energy flowing
through the system that acts to organize it along the lines of our
thought.
Werner Heisenberg, the pioneer of quantum physics, noted that all
systems are affected by the observer. The very tools of observation (in
our case, consciousness) have an effect upon the object being observed.
Common sense and personal experience verify this fact in our lives. The
following cliches attest to the uncontested acceptance of this fact in
our daily experience: "Laugh and the world laughs with you", "Kindness
is contagious", "When you're in love, the whole world is in love," and
so on.

state of mind to bring about the experience of greater good in our
