AFFIRMATIVE Prayer
We often speak in Religious Science about 'Affirmative Prayer'; that is, a
prayer that does not plead, petition, bargain, or beg; rather, it affirms and
accepts the Spiritual Truth of any situation. So that word affirmative in
front of prayer embodies one of the most important principles of this teaching.
Our licensed practitioners are committed to the following statements in
carrying out their responsibilities to themselves and to their clients:
Absolutely committing to the practice of Science of Mind principles
Accepting with gratitude the Good that results from speaking one's Word
Accessing the power and intelligence within
Acclaiming the At-One-Ment of every person with "the Thing Itself"
Achieving the highest standard in treatment - ethical, confidential, and
effective
Acknowledging that the "Power Within" does the work and
that nothing is impossible for that Power
Actively seeking to real-ize (make real) the aspirations of every person for
abundance, health, love, joy, and spiritual expansion
Affirming that Right Action unfolds in every situation and relationship
Anticipating the healing of every apparent disease and discord
Appreciating the incredible potentialities of the human heart
and mind and the awesomeness of Life
Articulating the use of Principle to all who seek to know
and understand
Astounding ourselves and each other with examples of the beautiful and
complex workings of Mind in response to our attitudes, beliefs, thoughts
and words
Audaciously exploring avenues to serve our Church, our members and
friends, our community, our nation, and our world.
