Pamela grew up in a very conservative Protestant church, went to a liberal
Baptist college, and for a while had very little formal religious or spiritual
life.  She considers the start of her mature spiritual life to be the
LifeSpring experience in 1980. The questions posed there and the journey started led
her to Religious Science.  She attended the Redondo Beach Church for some time,
with Drs. Frank and Anita Richelieu. She took Science of Mind I and other
classes there, never thinking she would eventually become a practitioner.  She
also took several classes with Terry Cole-Whittaker which emphasized using SOM
principles to live a masterful life. (The book, What You Think of Me Is None
of My Business, is still one of her favorites).
After getting married and moving to Agoura Hills, she was active in the
Conejo Valley CRS, serving as a Junior Church teacher and taking various classes
and seminars.
In 2003 she moved, with all the other mature moms, to the Pleasant Valley
CRS. Besides serving in Junior Church, she started taking classes for credit.
She completed SOM I, II, and III, and Practicum with Rev. Cynthia Clair (with
whom she went to Culver High), and finally became a Practitioner.  She also
completed SOM IV with Rev. Maureen Hoyt in 2000.

Pamela is currently serving her second term on the Board of Trustees and is
the acting Volunteer Coordinator, Program Chairman, and Delegate to the Ventura
County and Beyond Task Force for the Season for Nonviolence. She loves this
spiritual community and considers it an honor and a privilege to be a
practitioner.
My mission as a practitioner is to know for myself and my clients the oneness
of all life, the truth that it's all God, whatever the appearance, and to
serve whenever needed with compassion. I know that the word of truth is powerful
and sets cause into motion, and that the power of love is great enough to
heal anything. And so it is.
